Also last week Yorkshire in Bloom announced the results of the Yorkshire in Bloom judging. Although Knaresborough wasn’t entered into Yorkshire in Bloom this year, both the castle and Knaresborough House were entered. I am very pleased to announce that both the castle and Knaresborough House were awarded Gold.
Last month Knaresborough in Bloom hosted the World’s End railway display, a stunning recreation of Knaresborough railway station together with many iconic Knaresborough buildings. The display was very well attended and a charity collection was taken for St Michaels Hospice. I am delighted to announce that the sum of £636 was collected over the two days of the display.
