Knaresborough in Bloom Local competition results - July 2005

On one of the rainiest days of the summer so far, judges from Knaresborough in Bloom judged the excellent entries in the Knaresborough in Bloom competition. A total of 26 entries, including allotments, flower gardens and mixed flower and vegetable gardens, were judged. In addition a further 6 entries from the Lido Caravan Park were judged as part of a separate Lido in Bloom competition. The standard of all the entries was very high. The judges were Alan Sharp, Horticultural Officer from Harrogate Borough Council and Christine Willoughby, chair of Knaresborough in Bloom. Mrs Penny Carpenter came along to help judging the Lido in Bloom competition.

The awards will be presented at an Awards Evening to be held at Knaresborough House on September 16th at 7.30pm. All entrants to the competition are invited.
